What is Boxfiesta? Boxfiesta is a type of party created to help you meet people of the opposite sex. Our party features an icebreaker that allows people to start talking in a way that is natural and fun.
How many girls/guys will be at the party?
We aim to have a ratio of approximately 50% female and 50% male at each party. If there are too many people registered of a particular sex we will only allow registrations of the other sex until it evens out again. The total number of people depends on the particular party and is stated in the information for that party.
How are prizes distributed?Each prize is split by the couple. If the prize is 100 euros, for example, it will be split 50 euros each by us automatically.
Is the party only for singles?Boxfiesta is geared towards helping single people meet a lot of people of the opposite sex in an easy and fun way. If you are not single and wish to attend, keep in mind that you should be positive and friendly.
What happens if a connection is made?When a connection is made both people should come to the Boxfiesta counter and give their ticket to our staff who in turn will check to see if you have won a prize. Whether you have won a prize or not, you will both be given new Boxfiestas so you can go right back into the party and continue meeting people.
I am arriving late / leaving early.Arriving late. Keep in mind our party lasts 3 hours. If you arrive late you will have less time to meet people. The earlier you arrive the better. Arriving late also means others may already meet and connect with the person you could have met first!
Leaving early. You may leave whenever you want. If you decide to leave you will receive a stamp so you can re-enter the club at any time before the event finishes.
What happens after the Boxfiesta party is over?When Boxfiesta is over the club will reopen to the public as normal. You can stay and party in the disco and you will not have to pay any extra cover charge.
Note: Sometimes during the Boxfiesta party the price of drinks might be cheaper than they normally would be in that disco or bar, once the party is over the price of drinks will return to normal.
I am slightly older / younger than the recommended age range for a party but I still want to go, what can I do to attend?If you are just outside the age range for a particular party you can email us. We will check the average age for that event and if it is appropriate we will allow you to attend. Each request is reviewed on a case by case basis.
I would like to go to your party but I have no one to go with.Our parties are ideal for single people who may not have other people to party with. Boxfiesta is a fun, simple and natural way to make new friends.
What should I wear?Wear what you normally would during a night out. Since you will be meeting lots of people of the opposite sex you should definitely dress-to-impress. Remember, first impressions are very important.
Do I have to pay online or can I pay at the door.You can pay at the door, however, paying online means you get a big discount. We highly recommend you at least RSVP so you are guaranteed entry until a certain time.
To attend you can:
Advance purchase - If you purchase your ticket in advance you are guaranteed entry anytime during the party. We will have your name on the list so you can show up with just your ID. There is no need to bring a receipt. To purchase in advance you can pay online by credit card or send us a bank transfer. If you purchase in advance you will not have to wait in the normal queue.
Register only – If you register in advance we will guarantee you entrance until 1.5 hours into the event. You will get a small discount off the entry price if you RSVP. To get the full discount you must purchase your ticket in advance.
Pay at the door – If you show up at the door without a ticket or registration you will be charged the full cover price. There is also no guarantee that you will be granted entry if the party is full or if the sexes are not very evenly distributed. In that case you will have to wait for the numbers to even out.
What is your cancellation policy?If you pre-pay but cannot come to the event we will refund 100% of the ticket price up to 24 hours before the event. Tickets will also be refunded 100% in the unlikely event that party is cancelled.
